Taylor Linton
Board Chair
Taylor Linton proudly serves as a Board of Directors member for P.A.W.E. The goal of our performing arts nonprofit is to provide access to creative and artistic opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach due to financial or social barriers. Our hope for the organization is to nurture young talent, build confidence, and foster self-expression through music, dance, theater, or other art forms.
Taylor is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University, a historically black university located near Houston, Texas. She received a degree in Chemical Engineering, and currently works as a Project Controls Engineer for Dow Chemical. Taylor brings a unique blend of STEM problem-solving and creative passion to the table. Despite her engineering background, her love for the arts has always been a central part of her identity.
Taylor was exposed from a young age to the amazing world of performing arts. Drawing from her own experiences, she began her journey in the world of performing arts through ballet and tap dance. Her passion for the arts expanded further when she participated in school plays, where she discovered the magic of storytelling and collaboration on stage. As time went on, she ventured into the world of music, exploring her musical talents by joining her high school’s orchestra. It was there that she found her true passion for the viola, a musical instrument that allowed her to express herself in new and profound ways.
Through her own experiences, she has seen firsthand how crucial it is to expose children to the enriching opportunities offered by the performing arts. She is deeply committed to the belief that the arts have an incredible impact on individuals and communities. She is honored to be part of such an amazing organization and is excited for the meaningful work ahead.
